[It's hard to imagine Temenos fighting, she thinks to herself]
How does it feel to be inside that machine? Is it truly as effective as one would expect?
[No trust towards this newfangled technology, so she tries to find out the details now before she inevitably has to go into one of those for one reason or another later in the game.
I can heal severe injuries in a matter of seconds with my magic, providing that I have enough magical energy to do so. Sometimes, it is the difference between life and death.
[ temenos is a really, really, really strong healer. it be like that. ]
We may not have technology, but we are well beyond the capabilities of this place in that regard.
[Unless everyone has the capacity to go around healing people with their magic. She's assuming a lot of things, really, mostly because, in her ever rigid view of the world and its workings, she hopes only a select few get such an ability]
Quite wasteful you weren't allowed to keep your healing abilities, seeing what we may expect to see happening routinely.
[Murders! Maiming during work obligations! And they bring a guy who can trivialize the worse parts as long as he has enough magical energy, just to remove what he can do and put him with the rest. Sora hopes someone above the senior officers will kick themselves for that]
Mine are stronger than most, but clerical healers are not that uncommon. There is usually at least one if not two per even the smallest village - where the Sacred Flame lights, the clerics follow. Of course, my abilities are not foolproof, and they do not allow me to contend with illnesses or poisons in the way an apothecary can, but physical injuries are our specialty.
[ battlefield medics!! to the extreme.
but he does snort, a little, at that. yeah. it is wasteful. ]
Precisely what I said, yes. Though - I suppose, I did have them back in a moment of danger. Tenuously so, but I was able to cast my spells for a short time, while I was gone. A touch frustrating to know it can be turned off and on so easily, but such is the situation.
[She really wishes instead of medical pods they could just sit Temenos there at the medbay every Thursday so he can heal everyone. Give him a raise, Nut & Bolt.
Still, the other part seems to surprise Sora]
...the...powers can actually come back, in some circumstances?
[There's a hopeful tone in her voice. Sora didn't manage to conceal it completely. After taking a moment to compose herself, she nods]
Perhaps being some distance away from the Eudora itself weakens the nanites.
[Now she hopes she gets sent into a mission, at least one time. So what if she might lose an arm, just one opportunity might be all she needs to recover all she wants, she thinks]
alas. he glances over at that hopeful tone, expression betraying none of his own thoughts about it. ]
...Yes, they did - but I must stress, it was not nearly to my full capability. It fluctuated, and I think it is moreso the interference of the specific creature that we encountered than the distance that caused anything to change.

[ so there's that! he does look down at his hand, briefly, flexing his fingers, but that's it. ]
I'll have to spend a bit more time in that...machine, I suppose, but it will have to wait.

...Throné and I do travel together. [ it's hard out here being a wizard in a game with no magic
as for the healing pod - he wrinkles his nose, thinking about it. ]
I suppose it is effective, yes. I don't really enjoy it, but beggars can't be choosers; then again, my experience is, I supposed, biased.

[Her canon works the old-fashioned way of approaching the medical expert, the screen blacks out, and then you're alright]

[ judgy :/ ]

[Temenos has no idea how lucky he and others are there are medical pods. We'd be having a terrible time if they had to heal naturally]

Ah, so it's not something widespread, I assume.

I suppose it was to be expected it wouldn't be so simple. Nothing ever is, when it could make anything easier.
[...part of her still wants to be sent somewhere and perhaps encounter the same kind of creature Temenos' group did, just for a potential opportunity]
